Tadokoro leads Jayhawks to 4th-place finish at Sunflower Invitational

The Kansas women’s golf team wrapped up the Sunflower Invitational in a tie for fourth place after an even par 288 score in the final round at Colbert Hills Golf Course in Manhattan, Kansas.

Sera Tadokoro led the charge for the Jayhawks with a top-10 finish in a field of 62 players after three rounds and carded a 3-over par 75 in the final 18 holes. She also tallied the second-most pars in the tournament with 40.

Also finishing in the Top-20 were Pear Pooratanaopa and Yi-Tsen Chou. Pooratanaopa had a strong finish and shot 1-under 71 in the final round to jump her to 12th place on the individual leaderboard. Chou shot even in the final two rounds to place in a tie for 16th.
