The Kansas volleyball team fell to Texas Tech in five sets Wednesday night inside United Supermarkets Arena.
It was a back-and-forth affair from the second the match began. In the first set, both teams led by as many as four points. The Red Raiders tallied the final two points to earn a 25-22 set victory.
KU led by as many as 10 points en route to a 25-16 win in the second set. Senior Zoe Hill gave the Jayhawks a 2-1 lead by netting the final two points of the 27-25 win. Texas Tech recorded a win in each of the next two sets (25-13, 25-11) to pull out the win.
Sophomore Camryn Ennis led the way for Kansas with a team-high 13 kills. She was one of four Jayhawks to finish the night in double figures. Junior Sara Nielsen once again led KU in assists with 39.
Kansas (5-10) will play host to TCU at 1 p.m. Saturday.
