In its second Big 12 matchup of the season, Kansas suffered a 3-0 loss (25-23, 25-20, 25-18) at Iowa State Wednesday night inside Hilton Coliseum.

KU’s best chance at a victory came in the first set when the team led by a 22-21 margin before ISU scored four of the final five points to win the set. The Cyclones were then in control for much of the night after in their sweep of the Jayhawks.

Kansas got a strong performance from freshman Morgan Christon, who finished with a career-high 14 kills on the night. Junior Sara Nielsen finished with a team-best 28 assists in the loss.

KU will travel to Oklahoma at 5 p.m. Saturday.
