The Kansas women's basketball team couldn't keep pace with West Virginia's offense in a 71-50 loss Sunday afternoon inside WVU Coliseum.

Coming off of their highest scoring game of the season against Oklahoma, the Jayhawks' shots weren't falling at West Virginia. KU (12-8, 2-7) connected on just 32 percent of its shots on the day.

Senior Austin Richardson was the lone Jayhawk to reach double digits with 10 points, all of which came in the first half.

Three Mountaineers notched a double-figure scoring performance in the victory, led by junior Tynice Martain's 22 points and five rebounds. Senior Naomi Davenport and junior Lucky Rudd added 16 points and 13 points, respectively.

Kansas plays host to Kansas State at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
