The University of Kansas football team ended another streak.
The Kansas men’s basketball program, for the first full season, is using the growing ShotTracker technology as a part of its daily routine. But there’s much more to KU's increased use of technology than the ShotTracker name suggests. By Matt Tait
If he had it to do over again, Kansas senior quarterback Peyton Bender would have thrown his intentional-safety pass with his back to the field higher so that time would have elapsed, instead of leaving one long second on the game clock.
For the third time this season, the name of a former KU football great joined the Ring of Honor inside David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium. A tight end for the Jayhawks from 1967-70, Larry Brown watched his name go up on the north end of the old venue during a ceremony Saturday, in between the first and second quarters of the Jayhawks’ 27-26 victory over TCU.
With a rare Kansas football victory at stake, senior quarterback Peyton Bender had to run. Backward. And then throw the ball out of the back of the end zone. And if all of that went perfectly, the Jayhawks would beat TCU Saturday at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.
The Kansas volleyball team dropped its third consecutive match on Saturday in Waco, Texas, falling to Baylor 25-21, 25-21, 25-17.
