KU baseball falls in extra innings

For the second straight night, the Kansas baseball team went to extra innings with Morehead State. Only this time, the Jayhawks couldn’t find a way to create a run in a 5-3 loss, in 11 innings, at Hoglund Ballpark.

Morehead State (16-12) scored two runs in the top of the 11th inning off of a wild pitch, which included an error by catcher Jaxx Groshans.

The Jayhawks (16-11) will complete their three-game series at 1 p.m. Saturday.
