KU baseball falls in slugfest to Northwestern

In an offensive slugfest that featured a combined 36 hits and 30 runs, the Kansas baseball team suffered an 18-12 loss to Northwestern on Saturday at Hoglund Ballpark.

It was the most combined runs in a game at Hoglund Ballpark since April 25, 2010 vs. Texas Tech. The Jayhawks (3-2) will close their series against Northwestern at 1 p.m. today.
