Jayhawks fall short vs. Cincinnati, 7-6

The Kansas baseball team came up short in a 7-6 loss to Cincinnati in 13 innings on Saturday at Marge Schott Stadium.

The Jayhawks grabbed a one-run lead after scoring twice in the top of the eighth, but the Bearcats capitalized on misplayed fly ball in the bottom half to tie it back up.

Kansas will try to avoid the sweep to the Bearcats at noon today.

The team which Coach Price predicted would be pretty good is locked in a tight race and is fighting with KSU for last place in the Big 12. KU really loves bottom feeding.
