— The University of Kansas volleyball team made quick work of Montana in a 25-9, 25-22, 25-16 victory over the Grizzles on Saturday, which secured the Wolverine Invitational title for the ninth-ranked Jayhawks.

Three Kansas players were selected to the all-tournament team in sophomore Jada Burse (five kills, two blocks) and seniors Kelsie Payne (10 kills, six digs, two blocks) and Madison Rigdon (11 kills, seven digs, five aces). Payne earned tournament MVP honors.

The Jayhawks (6-0) will begin a stretch of four straight home matches — three of which are against ranked teams — at 1 p.m. Monday against No. 13 Kentucky.

Keep it up lady Jayhawks. The goal is to repeat as Big 12 champs and make your way to KC's Sprint Center in December so you could a bit of a home court advantage. Lofty goals, but you have a lot of fans supporting your efforts. Rock Chalk.
