Kansas softball absorbs 5-0 loss

James Madison handed Kansas’ softball team its third straight loss, 5-0 in the Citrus Classic II on Sunday in Orlando, Fla.

Megan Good (11-0) limited the Jayhawks to five hits.

Junior Erin McGinley had two hits for KU, and junior Harli Ridling, freshman Madison Sykes and sophomore Emily Bermel each had a hit.

The Jayhawks (12-9) will play Green Bay in their home opener at 6 p.m. Friday. KU will host the Jayhawk Classic on March 10-13.
