The volleyball team and coach got a lot of love at the football rally in prairie village last night - and deserving so. All of the speakers meantioned the volleyball team as well as other teams who have done well on the field and in the classroom. Actually as a whole under Dr. Zenger, KU athletics has improved substantially. Now the highest profile sport viewed by most around the country because of the revenue generated, i.e., football has to start building to competitiveness. Nevertheless, I hope the volleyball squad can exceed expectations. That would be exciting.

Not only have athletic accomplishments improved under Zenger, athletic facilities have dramatically improved. Zenger has raised millions and millions to accomplish all the improvements. Yes, Zenger made a mistake with Weis, but it appears he is on the way to hitting home runs with the rest of this hires. Beaty is just one of them and his overachievement and success are in the near future.

Great job ladies on the victory! Keep up the good work!!!
