Quarterback and holder T.J. Millweard’s quick hands and thinking turned a bad, low snap into a an extra point. So Millweard was responsible for more than 14 percent of KU’s scoring.

Gassers

Doesn’t quite qualify as a gasser but that pass in the first quarter that was over the head of Sims could have had more effort. Even though it was an unlikely reception, it was not a totally uncatchable pass. Looked like the receiver pulled in his hands and gave up. I was expecting him to dive for it.

I saw that same play by Sims and was surprised he pulled his hands in in a sudden manner. It was like he was afraid to catch it or afraid of getting hurt. We need some bravery from our wide receivers.

That being said, Sims had a pretty good day and is one of the young players I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of in the future.
