I totally get the time (3 years minimum) and the numbers of all types of players required to fill out a D-1 roster to be competitive, even to get to .500. You have to have depth at each position because of injuries which are a part of the game at this level. Where the Kansas program is right now at a basketball school, it is amazing anyone would actually relish the task of trying to bring this program back. But DANG...we can't find a kicker! Are you kidding me? Are we so bad even a good kicker can't be recruited? If I was a kicker I'd want to go to Kansas because we can't get in the end zone and I'd be getting lots of chances to show my stuff. We hit those field goals yesterday AND the extra point, and we are right there. Wow! That hurts!
