Game Balls

Wide receiver Shakiem Barbel alertly fell on a fumble for a TD after it was poked out of De’Andre Mann’s hand just shy of the goal line.

Reserve quarterback Keaton Perry, a freshman, threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Darious Crawley with 1:07 left in the game.

Gassers

Game wasn’t five minutes old and cornerback Marnez Ogletree already had been beaten for pass plays covering 84 yards (touchdown) and 37 yards.

Derrick Neal muffed a punt that was recovered by Texas.

Please don't excuse Bartolooka in the gasser category for missing a 20 yard field goal. Place kicking has hit an all time low and it is time to use a scholarship to get anybody.

@David, I was thinking of the same thing. Why we keep giving these guys a chance is beyond me. Kicking 20+ yards should be a given for anyone at this level.

It's amazing how the holding call was missed on RDE, on the 93 yard TD run.

Somethings never change, no matter how bad the Texas team is. Hard to compete, when your the opponent and you're competing against the refs as well.

Also, what was up with the LHN going to commercial right when the kickoff happened. Then, they kept showing KU as being 4th and inches, when it was 1st, 2nd down. LHN is a joke. And, it's done it's best to destroy a dang good Conference.

What about a gasser for spineless coach Beaty letting the clock run out before half on 3rd down with 20 secs and a timeout left. What a joke!
