KU softball tops Idaho State

Four Jayhawks had multi-hit games in the Kansas University softball team’s 10-2 five-inning victory over Idaho State on Saturday at Arrocha Ballpark.

Chaley Brickey went 3-for-3 with two RBIs, while Daniella Chavez, Shannon McGinley and Briana Evans had two hits apiece.

Kansas (23-2) jumped to a 3-0 lead in the third and then broke the game open with a seven-run fourth, which was capped by a three-run homer from Chanin Naudin.

The Jayhawks will look to extend their winning streak to five games when they take on Nebraska-Omaha at 2:30 p.m. today at Arrocha Ballpark.
