Frank Mason, Wayne Selden lead KU Blue team to 92-91 victory in Bill Self campers game

Kansas University junior guard Frank Mason III scored 30 points and junior guard Wayne Selden, Jr., added 21 to lift the Blue team to a 92-91 win over the Red squad in Bill Self’s campers game on Wednesday in Horejsi Center.

Selden hit a driving layup with 30 seconds left to account for the game-winning points.

Ben McLemore of the Sacramento Kings had 29 points, while freshman Carlton Bragg had 18 for the Red team. McLemore drilled seven three-pointers while Bragg hit a pair of threes. Elijah Johnson hit five threes, good for 15 points for the Red squad.

KU senior Jamari Traylor hurt his hip in practice Tuesday and did not play. Coach Bill Self said an MRI showed no structural damage and he’s listed day-to-day.
