Kansas University basketball coach Bill Self said on Monday he’s “confident” that 6-foot-9 freshman forward Cheick Diallo will ultimately be cleared by the NCAA Eligibility Center and compete for the Jayhawks during the upcoming season.

KU football reveals captains for 2015 season

The Kansas University football program on Monday revealed the identity of its three captains for the 2015 season. The team vote last Friday elected junior quarterback Montell Cozart, senior defensive end Ben Goodman and junior safety Fish Smithson as this year's leaders.
