? Two swings of the bat doomed Kansas University to a 3-2 nonconference softball setback against Tulsa on Sunday at the Collins Family Softball Complex.

Though the Jayhawks (33-8 overall) jumped to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first, the Golden Hurricane took the lead for good on Catherine Horner’s two-run homer in the bottom.

Jodi Edmiston’s solo shot in the bottom of the second gave Tulsa (29-15) all the offense it would need.

Kansas will host SIUE at 2 p.m. Wednesday, then return to conference play by hosting Oklahoma, April 24-26.
