By Staff Reports     Apr 16, 2015

Kansas University went 7 2/3 innings before collecting its first hit and managed just two on the night in a 3-0 loss to No. 15 Missouri State on Wednesday at Hoglund Ballpark.

It was KU’s eighth straight setback to the Bears (25-8). Kansas fell to 15-22.

“I’m really disappointed in our club offensively tonight,” Kansas coach Ritch Price said. “We had some really bad at-bats. That is the thing I am disappointed in the most. We are leading the Big 12 in hitting, but you wouldn’t know that after tonight. “

After starter Sean Rackoski (1-3) allowed three runs in the second, four KU relievers surrendered no runs and just one hit over the final six frames.

KU will host Texas at 6 p.m. Friday.
