Kansas rowing adds 5 recruits

Kansas University rowing coach Rob Catloth announced the addition of five rowers Wednesday.

The five are:

• Angie Allen, 5-9, Waterloo, Iowa, a McDonald’s All-America nominee in basketball and volleyball player

• Megan Boppart, 5-8, Olathe, a swimmer at Olathe Northwest

• Ally Fullerton, 5-8, Hamilton, New Zealand, a dual-citizen of New Zealand and the U.S. and an experienced prep rower

• Margaret Hornick, 5-11, Lansing, a four-year cross-country runner as well as a basketball and softball player

• Sydney Staehr, 5-8, Wichita, a volleyball player at Andover High.
