KU baseball splits twinbill vs. Houston Baptist

? Senior right-hander Frank Duncan tossed a two-hit shutout on Saturday night as Kansas University’s baseball team beat Houston Baptist, 5-0, to avenge its first loss of the season.

Earlier Saturday, KU outhit HBU, but the Jayhawks (10-1) stranded eight base-runners in a 4-2 setback.

The teams will conclude their series with a single game at noon today.
