Current, former Jayhawks compete at USA Outdoor Track Championships

— Kansas University alumnus Kyle Clemons earned a bronze medal in the 400-meter race on Saturday at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Clemons, who ran for the Jayhawks from 2010-13, earned his third-place finish with a personal-best time of 45.00.

KU alumna Andrea Geubelle was unable to defend her triple-jump title Thursday and finished fifth with a jump of 13.46 meters. On Saturday, Geubelle took ninth in the long jump (6.23m).

Current Jayhawk Sydney Conley placed 13th in long jump (5.88m). KU’s Michael Stigler advanced to today’s 400 final.
