Ex-KU track standout Clemons claims USA 400m title

? Former Kansas University track and field standout Kyle Clemons won gold in the 400 meters on Sunday at the USA Track and Field Indoor Championships.

Clemons finished in 45.60, the third-fastest time in the world this year.

Other former Jayhawks competed this weekend, including Andrea Geubelle (second place, triple jump; third, long jump), Jordan Scott (tenth, pole vault); and Zach Zarda (14th, 3,000 meters).
