Lois Heuchan, a three-year member of Scotland’s National Teams at the U15-U19 levels and standout from the Scottish Premier League will join Kansas University’s soccer team in the fall.
Heuchan, a 5-foot-8 forward, was a four-year member of Celtic FC, one of the nation’s top club teams that places in the Scottish Premier League.
She netted 21 goals for the team in 2013.
“Lois has played at a very high level for the Scotland U19 National team and Celtic’s first team,” KU coach Mark Francis said. “She is a very athletic, left-footed player that will help us in the wide-forward position. She serves the ball from wide positions extremely well, is very technical and is a finisher. We really struggled to score goals last year. Lois is one of the players who will help us change that this year.”
