Kansas baseball tumbles at Iowa

— One bad inning doomed Kansas University to a 5-3 nonconference baseball loss to Iowa on Tuesday at Duane Banks Field

Kansas (21-12) took a 2-0 lead after three innings, but Iowa (17-12) plated four in the fifth to take the lead for good.

The rally made a loser of Jon Hander (0-1), who surrendered four earned runs off five hits over 42⁄3 innings.

KU and Iowa will play a single game at 3 p.m. today.
