— Kansas University’s volleyball team rallied for a second-set victory on its way to a sweep of Texas Tech on Wednesday night.

The Jayhawks (15-4 overall, 5-1 Big 12) cruised in their first set, 25-16, but trailed 8-2 early in the second. Kansas fell behind, 23-18, before rallying, 7-0, behind a kill from Chelsea Albers and three straight kills from Caroline Jarmoc. KU finished off Tech, 25-16, in the third set.

Sarah McClinton led the Jayhawks with 13 kills, Jarmoc added nine and Albers had eight to go along with six blocks.

No. 23 Kansas travels to West Virginia on Saturday for another Big 12 matchup.

It is good to see the Jayhawk women continue to keep their game at a high level ~ and the Texas match is hardly a 'whooping' ~ a genuine Texas term.

Texas didn't really demolish the Jayhawks and UT is a national title contender. We showed we are good. But truly elite VB teams like Texas are ridiculously good!

West Virginia is a test we need to get the win there!

Good to see the girls bounce back after that whooping Texas put on them with a very strong performance.
