Kansas University outfielder Michael Suiter was named Big 12 Baseball Player of the Week.
A 6-foot-1 sophomore from Kailua, Hawaii, Suiter went 8-for-14 with seven stolen bases, five runs scored and two RBIs last week in a four-game series with Niagara. He extended his team-best hitting streak to 10 games.
