KU pole vaulters shine at summit

Reno, Nev. — Kansas University men’s pole vaulters Alex Bishop and Regan Gilbert finished 1-2, and KU standout Natalia Bartnovskaya won the women’s event on Saturday at the UCS Pole Vault Summit.

The Jayhawk women swept the event, with Demi Payne placing second and Sarah Hedberg taking third.

I don't see how our women, won't be top contenders for the national indoor crown.....we have everyone back, and this gal now, pole vaulting. we'll be pretty darn tough.

I wish the new track would be completed for this season, would've been a great way to open it with a bang... Oh well, there's always next year. Awesome job guys, congrats!
