The threat of winter weather has forced Kansas baseball to cancel Tuesday’s scheduled game with Missouri State at Hoglund Ballpark.
KU will host the Jayhawk Classic this weekend, starting with a game at 3 p.m. Friday against Iowa.

What could possibly go wrong if you schedule a baseball game in February in Kansas?

Funny thing is, nothing is happening. Where's all this ice and snow we were suppose to get?

Honestly I think it's just idiotic that Kansas schedules home games to begin the season. Go on the road. Accept the fact you are a cold weather school. If you want to take a chance on 1 or 2 midweeks in March, go ahead. You are a cold weather school. Pay the money to go on the road. Look at softball, they are doing it. No home games for 2 months.
