Hey....Staff Reports! This is bad article....you said who won...big deal. Don't you think your readers want to know how high they vaulted....how fast they ran....how far they threw the whatever...was it a PR..how far they jumped.....who's record they beat and what that record was? KU is supposed to have a good School of Journalism...I was a Microbiology major. Good Grief....content is supposed to account for something, not just knowing where to put the commas. Why donl't you get some high schoolers from FreeState School paper to intern at the LJW to help?

As a (very) proud graduate of the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications, I have to agree with Raydude as the most basic of details from a sporting event can/should be covered. While I am a huge fan of the Major sports at KU, I believe our Minor sports deserve at least a timely, clear and accurate reporting of the 'facts' when results of an event are reported -- especially one as big as the 2013 Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championships where KU Men's and Women's teams are expected to fare well (understatement). Come on, LJW . . . you can do better!

FYI...back in the day...Susan Ford, daughter of President Gerald Ford, came to KU to get into your William Allen White School of Journalism....it had such a good reputation.

Ditto Raydude and TCHawk. Is it THAT much harder to put in distances, etc.?

i believe the ladies won the conference title today. This is a great accomplishment, particularly without a fully healthy Dixon. Congrats girls!
The men would have been 4th I suppose with Finley, who left for Wyoming where he was Outstanding Male Athlete at the Mtn West meet.
