The ladies were saying they thought they had a shot at the top ranking, and now they've got it. Congratulations!

An update on Diamond Dixon would be much appreciated. Apparently working through an injury? We have a deep team to achieve #1 despite her issues. Wish you the best, Diamond!

Great news. I can't help think of Dr. Zenger's influence as the non-revenue sports do so well recently. I would like more in depth report on Lady Jayhawk least more than 7 lines. Even Joe Friday would be asking for more info.

Perhaps, given that its early February, this is obvious but this ranking is for Indoor Track. Still a great achievement by the team. But worth clarifying in the article. Good job ladies!

Great work, ladies -- maybe next time you'll get more than two friggin' sentences.

Congrats Lady Hawks. Look like the Athletic Department has been doing a solid job improving all the athletic programs. At one time, KU was one the better track and field programs in the country; nice to see it come back. Now, lets get the men's program going...

Lady Hawks... Congrats on the #1 ranking. More importantly, thanks to you, the men's team and coaches for helping to bring back Track & Field excellence to Lawrence and the University of Kansas. I live in Boulder, CO now and have for quite some time... but I'll always remember those beautiful spring days when we'd gather up our friends, roll down to the stadium and watch the KU Relays. Keep on keepin' on Hawks!

This is just excellent. KU has a track tradition that is now coming back. Continued success. The Arkansas meet is normally a good meet, a good showing there will really heighten expectations for this team. And who knows, maybe even the LJW will give you the proper recognition.

WOW!! WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR YOU ALL. Your performance this season places you high on the list of great University of Kansas track and field teams of years past, as well as making a major contribution toward the outstanding tradition of same. WELL DONE, JAYHAWK WOMEN!!!
