High school guard Milton Doyle expected to visit KU on Monday

By Staff Reports     May 14, 2012

Kansas University is expected to receive a visitor Monday in 6-foot-4 guard Milton Doyle.

The Chicago Sun-Times indicated the guard, who averaged 19 points, seven rebounds and nearly five assists a game as a senior for Marshall High School in Chicago last season, was interested in KU following his decommitment from Florida International.

Doyle visited Bradley and also is considering Colorado State and Nebraska, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Doyle decided to not honor his commitment to FIU following the firing of coach Isiah Thomas.

Lisa Green, Doyle’s mother, told the Tribune her son signed financial papers but not a letter-of-intent with FIU just in case Thomas decided to leave the school to take another position.
