Jenks, Okla. Kansas University’s Brooke Brull this weekend earned a trip to the Olympic Trials this summer.
Brull, a junior from Lake Quivira, won the 200-meter individual medley in 2:19.00 at Sectionals on Saturady night, then met another Trials cut in the 200 back Sunday, when she won in 2:15.75.
“Our entire program is just so happy for Brooke because this has been a focal point for her for about a year,” KU coach Clark Campbell said. “She has been focused and trained at a very high level.”

Congratulations to Brooke Brull for her outstanding performances in meeting the cutoff times for the Olympic Trials. Best wishes at the Trials.
Those not familiar with or involved in competitive swimming do not realize how large her accomplishment is. This truly means she is an elite swimmer. One of the best of the best.
