Kansas University sophomore sprinter Diamond Dixon, head coach Stanley Redwine and assistant coach Wayne Pate earned Midwest Region awards Monday, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Dixon was named the region’s female track athlete of the year, Redwine was the Midwest’s women’s head coach of the year, and Pate was the women’s assistant coach of the year in the region.
