I wonder how Xavier's Dad feels now about his decision to leave college after 1 year.

I would guess that Xavier's dad is glad his son is making $2.1 million this year after making $2 million last year.

Xavier Henry and Josh Selby should have decent careers. If they had stayed in school a little longer, they could've been immediate impact players at the NBA level, which makes that 2nd contract more of a sure thing. But they left early, which means that they will have to develop as players and ride the bench at the same time... which is a very difficult task to accomplish. We see it all the time, and not just with KU players, where guys get out early b/c they are lottery picks but then end up in the NBDL or Europe when their rookie deal is up.

Wouldn't you rather be the high profile rookie on sportscenter than a guy like Xavier? How many of you think he will get a good 2nd contract?

I'm not saying it was a bad decision for him to leave early, but I am saying that there is some sense to the argument that it wasn't the best decision. I dont know.... Consider this rant over.
