Another reason to hate the Cheaps. As if anyone needed another reason.

Oh, come on, dude. He wasn't going to beat out the other guys in camp, and you know it.

Was that a bash on Pioli and Hunt? I have to disagree... I don't get the negativity around them. Look at the roster on day 1 of the Pioli era compared to now. The guy has done his job and obviously Hunt has paid enough to make the Chiefs competitive. Last year we won 7 games in spite of losing 3 studs to ACL injuries before the second game and even our QB for about half the season. Add those guys to this years team, along with Hillis, Boss, Winston, Routt, and a good draft class... Pioli and Hunt have done their jobs. Chiefs will be good.

You may disagree. You are wrong. It's a cheap organization, really, really cheap. The ugliest uniforms in the league, a bad stadium and last year was a total and complete, hot mess. Not sure how you defend that drama...but there is a sucker born every minute.

You seen the Seahawks new uniforms? Those things are worse than what they had before and they already had the worst uniforms in the league.

And cusack is right. Biere never had a shot and to be honest probably isn't talented enough for the league. Derek Fine was a monster and he is having trouble staying in the NFL. Biere was good and I hope the best for him, but he certainly wasn't up there with Fine.

After last night the Jets will need a tight end. Give a call Tim.

Sorry you got cut hope someone signs you Tim

Love to see him on the 49ers. He could learn from Vernon Davis, and Alex Smith loves to throw to his Tight Ends!

Too bad Biere is slow, undersized and can't catch a football... Or he'd latch on at TE elsewhere

Yeah man because tight ends that are slow, undersized and can't catch a football typically get invited to NFL training camps...

I just remember all the dropped passes from the North Dakota State game a few years back. Not pretty.

Crap comment mhart... Biere is a Jayhawk in good standing. I agree he probably isn't NFL material, but don't insult the kid.

6'4" 260lbs. is far from undersized. The guy is a bull.

I cannot believe the vitriol being spewed here by Kansas "fans". Disgusting and embarrassing.

Maybe they are not Kansas "fans."

Couldn't agree more. Tim is one of us. He gave what he had to us and was one of the few bright spots over the last few years. Tim, I hope you catch on with another team.

I hope the best for Tim and anyone who is insulting a Jayhawk in good standing is determined to have a bad attitude.

I may agree with the assessment that Biere is probably not NFL material, but I would never root against him. Good luck to Tim. Would love to be wrong here.

Not unexpected at all. he wasn't playing. the Chiefs have a lot more issues to work on....and his position is pretty much filled.

Good luck Tim.

Royyyce... Do some research. He ran a 4.88 sec 40. Not fast. His best college year was last year... 322 yards for the season. He had just 2 TD's. His infamy at KU were the crushing dropped passes that caused the loss to NDSU. He was rated the #49 TE out of 73. How many 49th rated TE's make an NFL team? Chiefs (the most local team) did him a favor and gave him a chance. Not unexpectedly... He didn't make it. Sure he was one of us and gave what he had. No one said he didn't. He's just not NFL calibre.

Not to pile on but the one catch he made he managed to fumble. That was one bad day for Mr. Biere but I hope nothing but the best for him. Maybe he can find work in Canada or the Arena league. Given that this was the final cut must mean he was atleast on the radar. If the Chiefs did him a favor he made the best of it.

This wasn't the final cut. Teams are at 75 players now and have to get down to 53 players sometime next week. Biere wasn't close to making the final roster.

Tough team to make the roster as a TE. I still have faith. He made some great catches in his career and he can block with the best of them. I think he still has a shot.
