? Junior Whitney Berry scored in the 77th minute, but Kansas University suffered a 5-1 soccer loss to No. 2-ranked Oklahoma State on Friday night in the Big 12 Conference opener for both teams.

KU fell to 6-4 overall, while OSU moved to 12-0.

The Cowgirls led, 1-0, at the half, but scored four goals in the final 45 minutes in front of 1,388 fans.

OSU has allowed four goals all season.

Jamie Fletcher started the play that set up KU’s goal when she sent a pass to senior Kortney Clifton in the left corner. Clifton couldn’t get a shot off, so she pulled the ball back and passed across the goal mouth where a charging Berry buried a shot low in the left corner, her third score of the season.

KU will play host to Oral Roberts in a nonconference game at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Jayhawk Soccer Complex.
