Women place 8th, despite weather


— The Kansas University women’s golf team battled cold and windy weather placed eighth Tuesday at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic.

Meghan Potee finished in a tie for a team-high 26th place. Nadia Luttner tied for 45th.

The Jayhawks will finish the fall season Sunday and Monday at the Edwin Watts Palmetto Intercollegiate in Charleston, S.C.

I've commented on this before, but come on J/W. If you're going to report anything at all on the KU "minor" or Olympic sports, can you at least give enough info. to paint some semblance of a picture? And ty, ShockNAwe, for adding there were 17 teams. Obviously, I wouldn't have known otherwise.
