Game Balls and Gassers: Oklahoma State

Candidates for Game Balls

Tim Biere consistently gives Jordan Webb a target and catches everything thrown near him.

Ron Doherty’s strong foot gave Oklahoma State poor field position, not that it mattered.

Candidates for Gassers

The defensive line, the linebackers and the secondary.

4 turnovers--just like last week--and unable to score (obviously the first 7 was not happening again for the rest of the game it would prove and no point in counting end of game mercy scores), some offense should be listed for gassers. admit i started out excited about our offense, but they are not nearly as good as it seemed after those first 2 games.....I know everybody is still pumped up on our so-called 'good' offense -----but good against who????!!....... we have the talended offensive players to work with (for the most part....), but the coaching and playbook leaves much to be desired. Not enough room to talk about the fundamental problems on defense. again, have some players (as much as some of the other programs who manage to do more with less---umm, because of good coaching...) but not KU D coaches. They have got to go. No excuses. Going to be a long rest of the season, and I hope the last season for these coaches.

"You gotta be careful that you yourself aren't feeding into doubts," defensive coordinator Vic Shealy said when asked if instruction needed to be more forceful...We coach (players) aggressively, but we try not to strip them of their confidence."

Sweet fancy moses.

Why don't we just send them to day camp and let them work on their merit badges. It would be a lot cheaper than this coaching staff...and we'd have a lot fewer and lower expectations for this embarrassment of a football team.

The offense still need lots of work. Vic Shealey is in above his head so it would be unfair to comment on the defense.

Keep your head boys. Things can only better.
