• James Sims contributed nearly half of his Kansas' 197 total yards, rushing 19 times for 88 yards. He also posted the Jayhawks' only touchdown, a 15-yard score with 46 seconds left.
• Christian Matthews set career highs with four catches and 39 receiving yards. He also made a positive contribution to KU's running game, making good decisions in the Jayhawk formation while posting two carries for 18 yards himself.
• Duane Zlatnik was flagged for a false start and a personal foul penalty, both in the first half. The personal foul penalty came after he blocked an Aggie defender well after the play was over.
• Ron Doherty had two of his three kickoffs/free kicks sail out of bounds to draw flags. He also missed a 39-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter.

I kinda think that qualifies for a game ball. That has to be a NCAA record.

I didn't see Coach Gill listed in the Gasser column. I think someone mentioned that the one time he took off his headset we scored a touchdown. Additionally, his after game comments clearly are the top of the gasser column. I could go on, but clearly Gill and Coaching staff belong at the top.
