Two Kansas University volleyball players, Allison Mayfield and Tayler Tolefree, were named to the Capital One Academic All-District Team on Thursday.

Mayfield and Tolefree were named to the seventh district second team, which was chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Kansas was the only Big 12 team with more than one player on the all-district team. Honorees must be starters or important reserves and must have a 3.30 cumulative GPA. Freshmen are not eligible for the award.
