Lincoln, Neb. It looks like Nebraska’s Doc Sadler is staying put.
Sadler said Friday in a text message to The Associated Press that no one from Texas A&M has contacted him about the Aggies’ men’s basketball coaching job. Sadler was named in reports as a possible candidate to replace Mark Turgeon, who was hired by Maryland this week. Last month, Sadler received a contract extension through 2015-16.

Sadler would be a horrible choice. He is barely average and has short man syndrome.

On the other hand if TAMU is willing to consider Jeff Van Gundy how much worse could Sadler be? Not a fan of either; just an observation.

How about Pat Knight, Sean Sutton or Jeff Capel? They all need head coaching jobs.

Pat Knight is head coach at Lamar.

Head coach at Lamar is about the same as not a having a job. T A&M would be a better job than Lamar.

How about Bin Laden's son at A&M? He isn't doing anything these days, and word out of Pakistan is he may be fairly good bball coach, even better than Doc.
