Kansas University’s cross country teams are both included in the top 15 of the Midwest Region preseason rankings that were announced by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Monday.

The KU women are ranked seventh and the men 11th.

Both teams will open the season Saturday at the Bob Timmons Classic at Rim Rock Farm.
