The Kansas football team's Nov. 20 home game against Oklahoma State will kick off at 11 a.m. and will be televised on FSN, the Big 12 announced Monday.

The game will break a string of three straight games where the Jayhawks were not available on cable television. KU's games against Iowa State and Colorado had no television, while Saturday's game against Nebraska will only be available on pay-per-view.

Amen to that! It would be extra hilarious, if KU by some act of God, beats Nebraska. Then the Husker's can limp their way into the Big 10

Ku sports poll question. If you could get rid of turner or the track which do you pick?

We'd choose "you".

The other two still have some value and relevance at times. Given your postings, full of incessant whining and without a legitimate fact to provide any basis for any of your mumblings, you seem to have neither.

How do you get the question wrong? You had a 50/50 chance and you got it wrong!

Why would anyone in the Big 12 want to get rid of Turner?

The only reason I could think of is because Nebraska fans are nervous for good reason that we will be pulling away half of the original offensive recruits that would have gone to Nebraska had they not left the conference?

Or is it because Nebraska fans know what Gill is planning at KU after seeing him recruit the nation's biggest line for next year? (The Big Blue Machine)...

Or is it because in head to head recruiting since Turner Gill arrived, the score is:

Kansas 2 Nebraska 0

Sidenote: if you are a recruit looking at Nebraska, make sure you come check out our facilities at KU before you sign any paperwork. All of Nebraska's games will be so far away from the Midwest next year that all of your Midwest friends & family (or people in Texas) will rarely be able to see you play whereas at KU your Texas family & friends can see you play at least twice in Texas every year, and many more times with the short drive up to Lawrence.

Next year Nebraska's Texas recruiting is taken over by Gill!!!!!

That's a real good point. Hadn't thought of that.

Although I hate being "that fan base", I will say that the one positive thing Gill has going for him is that he still has two chances to make this a "successful" season among the fans.

1) Beat Missouri= success 2) Beat Nebraska= success

How about....

  1. A win over a top 15 team at John Wooden Memorial Stadium? (first time since we beat OU in early 80's, that's almost 30 years ago!)

  2. A win over a team leaving for the PAC 10? (we will always and forever have the bragging rights on CU leaving the big 12 after we scored 35 unanswered points).

  3. How about our young, injured & undersized guys sticking with ISU at home, just a week before ISU almost beat Nebraska in Lincoln?

  4. How about beating Nebraska head to head in recruiting this season? (KU 2, NU 0)

  5. How about already having 300% more wins than Mack Brown had at UNC his first year? (Mack finished with one).

  6. How about having one more win than Mangino had in his first year?

  7. How about bringing in the biggest line in America for next year?

  8. How about signing three of the fastest players on the board, even after a beatdown?

We're building a foundation here, friends & he already has more wins than Mangino did, and he also beat a team Mangino couldn't even with Reesing, Meier & Briscoe!!!!

100, you are officially the most naive poster on this site. Where were you after the North Dakota State, K-State, Baylor games?

  1. That has no added value to this season. Looks good for Gill, the team still looks like crap when the smoke settles.

  2. CU is one of the worst teams in the nation. Has it really come to this... bragging about beating a horrible CU team?

  3. Did you just boast about us "sticking with ISU"?

  4. Enough with the recruiting battle with Nebraska... you talk about it all the time... you know how many basketball recruits decide not to go to KU to play somewhere else? It's really not a big deal.

  5. If Gill has the success Mack Brown has in a couple years than I'll let it slide. For now, he's still coaching one of the worst KANSAS teams in a long time.

  6. If Gill wins a BCS bowl in 3 years and goes 12-1, I'll eat crow. For now, I don't see us making a bowl in 3 years.

  7. You heard that from the opinion of a radio show. Please refer to Iowa, Wisconsin and Ohio State offensive line.

  8. "Even after a beatdown"

All of your "goals and accomplishments" are subjective... "having the biggest line for next year"--how does that make this a successful season?

None of those would make this season successful. Steal two recruits from NU? Signing 3 "fast" players? Sticking with ISU?

And if he and the team do, that would show they are building something: starting the game fired up, being competitive, giving themselves a chance, and winning games. That's what we're asking for...in that order. Now let's hope they start the game against NU fired up.

Not sure the Hawks stand a chance against either, unless they build from the 4th quarter effort...and I sure as heck hope they do.

That said, I'm with you...

Even though we are tremendously undersized, young, thin, injured & slow for a Big 12 premier team, I'd love to see our boys show Missouri & Nebraska Gill's 35 points a quarter personality for 8 quarters!

"Just like the schoolyard."

100! You're more like 300 today!

Let's get this team linked up and let the phalanx OL start winning battles next year.

Tons of great points. Keep it up.
