By J-W Staff Reports     Mar 8, 2010

After posting victories over Kansas State and Missouri last week, the Kansas men’s basketball team moved back into the top spot in both national rankings.

The previous No. 1-ranked team, Syracuse, fell to Louisville on Saturday.

KU picked up 63 of the 65 first-place votes in the Associated Press poll and nabbed 30 of the 31 first-place votes in the USA Today/ESPN coaches poll.

Other Big 12 teams in the polls included Kansas State (ninth AP, ninth coaches), Baylor (21st, 20th) and Texas A&M (23rd, 24th).
