Stuckey recognized by K.C. Sports Commission

— Former Kansas football safety Darrell Stuckey was named as the co-Collegiate Male Athlete of the Year by the Kansas City Sports Commission at its 38th annual Awards Show on Wednesday night.

Stuckey, who finished his career at Kansas this past fall after graduating from Washington High School in Kansas City, Kan., shared the honor with LaRon Council of Northwest Missouri State.

Stuckey was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the fourth round of the NFL Draft this spring.
