Big 12 roundup: Kansas State cruises past North Florida

— Kansas State, playing without three starters, got huge games from Jamar Samuels and Wally Judge in a victory Friday over North Florida.

Samuels had 26 points while Judge added 22, both season highs, for the Wildcats (11-3).

Kansas State was without suspended Jacob Pullen and Curtis Kelly. Starting center Freddy Asprilla missed the game due to illness.

Austin, Texas — Jordan Hamilton scored 24 points.

No. 18 Texas A&M; 66, McNeese St. 57

College Station, Texas — Khris Middleton scored 13.

Gonzaga 73, Oklahoma St. 52

Spokane, Wash. — Elias Harris scored 22 points.

I stayed up late to watch the OSU/Gonzaga game. The Cowboys looked lost. Of course, Zaga's home court apmosphere is somewhat similar to AFH, just with less folks. Hard to win there. It will be interesting when the Jayhawks play OSU in Stillwater later this year.
