K-State’s Curtis Kelly to sit out 6 total games for NCAA infraction

— Kansas State forward Curtis Kelly will miss four more games after committing a secondary NCAA violation while buying clothes at a Manhattan department store.

Athletics Director John Currie announced Tuesday that the NCAA accepted Kansas State's recommendation that Kelly sit out six games and repay the value of the benefit he received to a charity. Kelly already sat out two games last week.

Kelly, who is averaging 10.3 points and four rebounds, will be eligible to play again against Texas Tech on Jan. 15.

Kelly and senior guard Jacob Pullen were declared ineligible last week for accepting impermissible benefits. Pullen sat out two games of a three-game suspension and will miss the Wildcats' game against North Florida on Friday. He will be eligible to return against Savannah State on Monday.

Ha----when Kelly comes back, the Mild Kitties won't even be ranked in the Top 25----what a bummer!

they'll still be ranked, based largely on their phony baloney preseason ranking! KSU and North Carolina in the top 10 preseason? These guys should be fired!

Has anyone else noticed how quiet the crapbackers have been lately? Not that I'm complaining...guess it's hard to say anything with both feet in your mouth.

Kelly is overrated he would be at best a bench warmer behind Thomas Robinson battling Withey for mins if he was on the KU squad

I think Kelly is good and has a potential. What he doesn't have is Self and Manning as coaches.

focojayhawk.....what kelly needs is someone to teach him that if you don't make every single shot you make that it isn't always the refs fault....quit cryin and makin yourself look stupider than you already look and get back on D. I've said it before. i have never seen anybody in any sport, at any level, be such a cry baby

couldn't have said it better myself. he isn't the only wildcat that cries after every call that is made or not made either.
