The Kansas University golf team hosted a tournament Monday, coming away in third place after one day.

Nate Barbee shot a first-day 143 to finish a shot back of the individual leader, and Kansas University’s men’s golf team was in fourth place after two rounds Monday of the Kansas Invitational at Alvamar Country Club.
The final round will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 this morning.
