KU volleyball team falls to MU

— Kansas University’s volleyball team fell to rival Missouri, 19-25, 25-22, 27-25, 26-24, on Wednesday night in the Big 12 Conference opener for both teams.

Junior Karina Garlington had 20 kills for the Jayhawks, who fell to 7-3 overall. MU improved to 8-3.

Paige Mazour had 11 kills and a team-best .346 attack percentage. Melissa Manda had 16 digs and Nicole Tate 12 with 43 assists. Allison Mayfield had 11 digs.

very competitive match. last two games, went into "overtime" ...so to speak. looking forward to the rematch in Lawrence.
