Columbia, Mo. Kansas University’s volleyball team fell to rival Missouri, 19-25, 25-22, 27-25, 26-24, on Wednesday night in the Big 12 Conference opener for both teams.
Junior Karina Garlington had 20 kills for the Jayhawks, who fell to 7-3 overall. MU improved to 8-3.
Paige Mazour had 11 kills and a team-best .346 attack percentage. Melissa Manda had 16 digs and Nicole Tate 12 with 43 assists. Allison Mayfield had 11 digs.
